RUTT is an Australian luxury knitwear and resort wear brand founded on a simple philosophy of quality, gentleness and care in each and every aspect of our knitted and crochet pieces. Our goal is to provide timeless, heritage craftsmanship that reduces and repurposes waste and is responsibly made. We prioritise the use of high quality dead stock, recycled, and local yarns.

Working closely with a network of artisans in India, Australia, and Peru, our knitwear and crochet is Handmade and Limited Edition. We share our processes and the people behind each product in our newsletter.

Founded by Rachel Rutt in 2020, whose love of hand craft alongside a career as a model, artist and designer led her to gain an acute awareness of the damages of fast fashion, the growing value of waste reduction and the need for a more circular economy. These experiences are what ground RUTT as an artisanal, consciously crafted knitwear brand.
